This lovely house had a stunning view over barren rocks and sunsets overlooking the sea. The house itself originated on the little island Käringön and was moved here to the larger island Orust sometime during the 19 century. The house is now located between two rocks for shelter, as it was often done in those days.
A large oak is located on the back of the house and gives a nice shade. The decking’s on the front, and is well suited for bbq evenings or just to sit and enjoy the sunset over the sea. If you are lucky you might eve sea deer or a moose passing by, or hear the nightingale sing in the early summer
It is a two story house:
The first floor has a kitchen, living room, dining area, bathroom, one bedroom and a hallway with laundry.
The kitchen opens out onto the decking’s with the sea views.
The second floor offers a family room and furthermore two bedrooms.
Please note that the stair to the second floor is steep and not suitable for small children or a dog without supervision.
THE HOT TUB
Wood-fired hot tub for approx. 4 people are immersed in the terrace. If a bath is desired (max. One hot bath per tenant), the owners must be contacted in advance regarding heating, due to risks of fire and safety. Other bathing possibilities in the barrel are made in agreement with the owner.
TV / Wi-fi, access to Google Crome Cast and free surfing.
Natural swimming area 10 min walk.
>Child-friendly sandy beach approx. 1 1/2 km away. Other bathing places are mentioned in the house folder.
